Our Super-Speciality
Peripheral Arterial Disease And Diabetic Foot

Diabetic foot and peripheral vascular disease often lead to amputation if untreated. Our clinic focuses on early diagnosis, revascularization and advanced wound care. We aim to save limbs and lives using the latest vascular and endovascular treatments, bringing hope to patients across all socioeconomic backgrounds.
Therapies offered for peripheral vascular diseases include:
- Peripheral Angiography and Angioplasty
- Endovascular Stenting for diffuse diseases
- Advanced therapies of Atherectomy, Lithotripsy for calcified lesions
- Drug eluting balloons and stents for difficult arteries
Varicose Veins

Varicose veins are swollen, twisted veins in the legs caused by faulty valves and prolonged standing. They can lead to pain, skin changes and even non-healing ulcers. Our clinic offers comprehensive diagnosis and minimally invasive treatments to help relieve symptoms and restore quality of life for patients with varicose veins.
Treatment options of Varicose Veins:
- Medicines
- Compression therapy
- Endovenous Therapy
- Microphlebectomy
DVT and PE

Deep vein thrombosis is a dangerous condition where blood clots form in the deep veins of the legs, causing swelling and pain. If untreated, these clots can travel to the lungs and cause life-threatening pulmonary embolism. Early detection and appropriate treatment are critical to prevent complications and save lives.
Symptoms of DVT:
- Swelling in one leg (rarely both)
- Heaviness or fatigue in the limb
- Warmth over the affected area
- Red or discolored skin
- Heaviness or fatigue in the limb
Aortic Aneurysms

Aortic aneurysms are silent dilations of the body’s largest artery and can be fatal if they rupture. Often undetected in India due to lack of awareness, these can now be treated safely with minimally invasive procedures like EVAR. Early detection and timely treatment can save lives.
Types of Aortic Aneurysms:
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)
- Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm (TAA)
- Iliac Artery Aneurysms
Dialysis Access AVF, AVG and Permcaths

Dialysis access is a lifeline for patients with kidney failure. An AV fistula, created by a vascular surgeon, is the most reliable and natural method for long-term hemodialysis. When not feasible, AV grafts or permcaths may be used. Our goal is to ensure safe and durable dialysis access for every patient.
Key Benefits:
- Long-lasting
- No artificial material
- Lower infection risk
- Less risk of clotting
Carotid Artery Disease

Carotid artery disease causes narrowing of neck arteries that supply blood to the brain. This blockage can lead to a stroke or transient ischemic attack. Early detection with ultrasound or angiography followed by treatment through surgery or stenting can prevent brain damage and improve long-term outcomes.
Symptoms of Carotid Artery Disease:
- Sudden severe headache
- Sudden difficulty in speaking or understanding speech
- Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes
- Dizziness or loss of balance
Mesenteric / GI Bleed

Bleeding from internal arteries such as mesenteric or gastrointestinal vessels can be life-threatening and needs urgent intervention. Diagnosis is often confirmed using advanced imaging like angiography. Treatment may include minimally invasive embolisation or open surgery to stop the bleeding and stabilize the patient, depending on the location and severity.
Symptoms of a Bleeding Artery in the Abdomen:
- Sudden drop in blood pressure
- Severe abdominal pain
- Bloody or black stool
- Vomiting blood (hematemesis)
Mesenteric / Bowel Ischaemia

Mesenteric ischaemia is a condition where the blood supply to the intestines is reduced or blocked. Just like the heart or brain, the intestines also need a steady flow of blood to work properly. When that flow is interrupted, it can lead to pain, digestive problems, and, if not treated in time, serious complications.
Common symptoms include:
- Sudden, severe pain in the abdomen
- Nausea and vomiting
- Diarrhea or an urgent need to pass stool
- Sometimes blood in the stool
Vascular Malformation

Vascular malformations are rare abnormal connections between arteries and veins. They can remain silent for years but may grow and lead to pain bleeding or even life-threatening complications. Depending on their type treatment includes embolization, sclerotherapy or surgical excision. Early evaluation by a vascular specialist can prevent serious outcomes.
Symptoms of Vascular Malformations:
- A soft swelling or lump which may increase in size with activity
- Skin discolouration ranging from red to bluish-purple
- Warmth over the lesion in case of AVMs
- Pain heaviness or fatigue in the affected limb
Thoracic Outlet And Cervical Rib

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) is a condition that happens when blood vessels or nerves are squeezed in a small space near the lower neck and upper chest—called the thoracic outlet. This space lies between the collarbone and the first rib. When something in this space presses on the arteries or veins, it can lead to a type of TOS known as arterial or venous TOS.
Common symptoms include:
- A cold or pale hand
- Weak pulse in the wrist
- Pain or cramping in the arm when using it
- Numbness or tingling in the fingers
Lymphedema

Lymphedema is a condition where fluid accumulates in the limbs due to poor lymph drainage often seen after surgery or cancer treatment. It can cause limb swelling skin damage ulcers or infection. With the right care including compression therapy surgical procedures and wound care quality of life can be restored.
Symptoms of Lymphedema:
- Swelling in part or all of the arm leg or genital region
- Heaviness or tightness in the limb
- Restricted range of motion
- Hardening or thickening of the skin (fibrosis)
Vascular Trauma

Vascular trauma can be life or limb threatening and requires urgent attention. Injuries to arteries can cause massive bleeding, loss of blood supply and permanent damage to muscles and nerves. With early detection and expert surgical repair, these injuries can often be managed effectively to save both life and limb.
Common Symptoms of Vascular Injury:
- Active bleeding from a wound
- Expanding swelling or hematoma
- Cold or pale limb
- Loss of pulse below the injury site
Vascular Access for Chemotherapy

Patients undergoing chemotherapy often need safe, durable and long-term access to their bloodstream. Devices like chemoports, Hickman lines or PICC lines provide reliable entry points for treatment and blood tests. These are placed surgically under sterile conditions by a vascular surgeon to ensure safe and comfortable chemotherapy delivery.
Three main types of long-term vascular access devices:
- Chemoport
- Hickman Line
- Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter

Dr. Aniruddha treated my father for a severe blockage in his leg arteries with exceptional care and professionalism. From the very start, he patiently explained the condition and treatment plan—and what made a real difference was how well he connected with my dad, explaining everything in a way he could truly understand and feel comfortable with.
The surgery was successful, and he remained actively involved through the recovery process, always available and supportive. During an emergency, he moved quickly to ensure my father received immediate, prioritized care.
Thanks to his skill, dedication, and personal approach, my dad is now back to his usual self. We’re deeply grateful!

Exceptional Care from Dr. Aniruddha Bhuiyan
“I’m deeply grateful for Dr. Aniruddha Bhuiyan’s expertise and compassionate care. My sister suffered from varicose veins, experiencing swelling, burning, and cramping. Despite consulting several doctors, she found limited relief.
After discussing her case with me, I suggested she meet Dr. Bhuiyan. Following his consultation and treatment, my sister’s condition improved significantly over three months. The pain subsided, and she regained her ability to enjoy social activities – a remarkable turnaround.
Now, she’s happy and active, always thanking me for the recommendation whenever we meet. I’m thankful for Dr. Bhuiyan’s dedicated care and highly recommend him. Dr. Aniruddha Bhuiyan is a Vascular Surgeon practicing at Holy Spirit Hospital and has a private clinic in the evening at Andheri East.”
